AKC Fox Red Labrador Retrievers

Our Approach To Breeding

We put a lot of thought and careful planning into each litter we produce at Sixth Sense Kennels and everything possible to ensure that our puppies are genetically sound.

Each of our breeding dogs have OFA clearances for their hips and elbows. CAER certified eyes Clear, and are EMBARK DNA tested unaffected by CNM, DM, EIC, HNPK, HUU, MCD, Narcolepsy, PRCD, Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency, and Skeletal Dysplasia 2, SD2, plus 216 other genetic variants.  We guarantee that our puppies will not be Affected by any of the genetic disorders that we test for.  Our goal is to produce healthy, genetically sound puppies and preserve their natural hunting abilities, instincts, trainability and temperament.

Puppy Care

Our puppies are bred to be smart, beautiful and have an off switch!

All of the puppies we raise are born in our home and are given daily contact and stimulation. For optimal neurological development of young puppies we do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). When the puppies are ready to go home at eight weeks of age, their new owners will find that dew claws have been removed, a health check has been given by our veterinarian, shots and wormings are up to date, and that they are microchipped. Puppies will have been introduced to wings and water (weather permitting) and accustomed to loud noises. We stand behind our puppies with a written 2 year health guarantee on hips, elbows, eyes, and genetic diseases common to Labrador Retrievers.
